QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently legally able to work in Canada
• 5 years or more experience in the restaurant industry in a fast-paced food service operation
• Organized
• Dependability, reliability, flexibility
• Effective interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication skills
• Team player

DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for staff scheduling and labor cost
• Knowledge of room availability and meeting room bookings
• Supervises and coordinates the activities of the Food & Beverage Servers in the dining room and banquet facilities
• Greets and escorts patrons to tables, ensures they are comfortable, hands them the menus and makes sure they are served promptly
• Takes and assigns tables for dining room reservations
• Inspect dining room service stations for cleanliness and general appearance
• Settle guests complaints with tack and diplomacy
• Assist in serving if the dining room is busy
• Accepts payment from patrons and balances cash
• Responsible for restocking of inventory
