Steele Hotels is pleased to announce the expansion of the JAG hotel in downtown St. John’s. 

The boutique hotel, best known for its musical theme, is located on George Street West, one of North America’s best-known entertainment districts.

The musical theme, feel and mood will continue throughout the new expansion with its décor and pops of art. 

Connected by a pedway, there will be an addition of 85 rooms for a total of 169 rooms in all.  A new lounge with 140 seats will be added and the existing restaurant will be expanded to 120 seats.   It will host a high-end spa and fitness center, coffee shop, and a luxurious VIP floor with a lounge. 

Also located in the new expansion, is a state-of-the-art two-story multi-purpose venue able to accommodate banquets up to 600, receptions up to 1,000, and concerts up to 1,500.  A great enhancement to the arts and entertainment in the downtown St. John’s area.

Located near the Convention Centre, Mile One Stadium, and several office towers, JAG caters to guests who are looking for a unique experience. 

The anticipated completion of the expansion is 2023.
